Maidenhead v Torquayunited 10/2/18

When you've been on the receiving end of threats I'll take your opinion with a little more than CGAF ;-) Oh come on Dave, you’re better that that. You feel as threatened by him as I do by my two -year - old granddaughter. If you want to beat a bully you must confront him/her face to face. Merse can...

Steve Breed Question & Answer Thread

It is obvious that Steve was always opposed to accepting the initial GI loan, but what realistic alternatives did the Dave Phillips board have at the time of its acceptance? Furthermore, was it not inevitable that once GI investment had been accepted that the club would default on the loan and the c...

Why have the results of the elections at the AGM a month ago not been updated on the trust website? (Thanks for the link rob). I'm nitpicking but if there is to be a trust then everything needs to be in order for it to maintain and sustain it's credibility and it's sense of thorough professionalism...

Yep, like the post on the os said a couple of days ago. It’ll still be Online. And you can’t blame Osborne or the club for this one. Ire must be directed to the BBC.

And this excuses not displaying the correct date of the match? Another example of the shambles that has become of the club I continue to love.

Sign at the bottom of Hamelin Way

Given the state of the club on and off the pitch this should come as no surprise, but as only an occasional visitor to the bay these days I was disappointed to see earlier today that our next home fixture at Plainmoor will be against Eastleigh on Monday. Bet this wouldn’t have happened in Merse’s da...

Oh bugger. Sad news. Very vague memories of watching him in the twilight of his career and the nascent days of mine watching the club. My grandad always liked him so I’m sure he was a fine player, regardless he was certainly a good servant of the club. Condolences to all those touched by their loss.

Whilst I understand your frustration I’m pretty sure you’ll find we were close to the bottom of the league with Nathan Blissett in the team and it was Keiffer Moore who made the difference when he joined on loan from FGR. Just saying...

Delighted by Jamie Reid’s response to my challenge. He now needs to continue in the same vein

This comment is great! I’m sure you “challenging” him will help him to question his performance and therefore improve it. Why didn’t we think of this before? I was standing next to some bloke at the Dover game who tore into Rhys Murphy who was stood 10 yards away - everyone around me found it hilar...

Jamie Reid (again, probably)

I would never have a go at one of our players during a game , don't think it helps anyone. But I must say Reid is one of the worst players ever to put on a United shirt, no pace, can't beat a man , no football brain and never gets stuck in basically clueless If you read what I wrote you will see th...

Jamie Reid (again, probably)

I’m on the train on the way home from the Aldershot defeat. I was the one in the second half who, frustrated by the umpteenth display of ineptitude by Jamie Reid shouted, “Come on Jamie. Prove to us that you’re not sh*t!” He appeared to glare at me immediately after my comment and I hoped he may be ...
