Interesting stat on Radio Devon this pm, via Dave Thomas but actually from Gary Waddock who had stated
that Torquay had only lost 3 games this season out of 17 against teams in the top ten. You have to ask why
this lack of motivation against the lower half teams has happened

Can we Survive? 10 Games Remaining.
I think I would settle for being mathematically 'alive' at kick off time on the last day with us having to beat North Ferriby and rely on other teams losing or drawing Possibly 2 of, us Woking and Braintree to go down, think York will be clear by then, their next four fixtures are not too tough and ...

Agree Lucy, I felt bad enough walking back to the car, but the other results are just as important now and when
I heard 4 of them had won it was like the knife being twisted
Be great if Bromley could get a draw at York on tuesday but cant see it. We are really clutching at straws now

Well summed up toastkid, forget the referee and the 10 men, its been the same all season , struggling to create and then if we do manage to, take a chance. Reid should have scored and why doesnt Young take all the free kicks any more? Chester were just about the poorest team I have seen this season....

Seize the initiative - or else?
Well done Louis, you had me fooled, but thats not difficult !
Does anyone remember Spotlight doing one on us in the mid eighties, said we had signed an Italian striker
Primo Aprilo, that was the legendary BBC guy Wood Dickacre

Another team with nothing to play for, but then so were Eastleigh, hoping Chester wont be as experienced and gamesmanship/ cheating/ timewasting wise as them They have won their last two away albeit at teams in poor form , Bromley and Southport but lost 5 on the trot at home. Would love a goal in ea...

I agree with Tomogulls post, the team is worse than its individual players. I would like to see Nicho given an improved budget and given til Christmas to see what he can do but its not going to happen it sounds like He has made some good signings, notably Sparkes, McGinty, an improving and decent de...

Totally agree Zippy, DT knows far more about football and Torquay United than most people on here
Sometimes on here its a case of 'who can we slag off next? '

As Brucie says 3 points against Chester and we are halfway there. We must go all out to win this as the next two at Aldershot, where we should have around 600-700 fans ? and Lincoln we will do well to get 1 pt from Then its Braintree who could be really sucked into it by then, if they lose at York o...

Good to hear from Lucy that it was a performance full of fight, passion, desire commitment etc , and I know its the time to get behind the team now but have to say that sort of performance is what should have been happening in every match. If it had we wouldnt be in this mess on the field and be 10-...

Yet more words from Nicho, he is up and galvanised for the fight, but are the players ? If they were it would be a start
but they are not good enough to win 4 games out 8 I am afraid
