I think we will scrape a win today, which will buy some time for Owers.
Lose today and he has to go.
Fantastic gate for the last home game with over 1500 gulls fans there. How long will those gates continue with these performances.
Every game i keep hoping this is when we finally start to rise... Could today be the day!!!! We all remember what happened to Ferguson!!!!!!

Torquay United v Hampton & Richmond 25/08/2018
We have to realize we are just a very average team in a very average league! Just because we have good support good ground and were playing attractive LEAGUE footba!l a while back. It means nothing now. With this manager and owners we are odds on to become a very average NLS team. Maybe we should start celebrating our steady start and thanks owers for steering us to 15th after 6 games......
We might stay up this season

Great post.TUFC__12 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2018, 17:23 Can’t believe I went to watch this shite. I’ve supported Torquay for many years and never has it been as bad as what I’ve just watched. Owers needs to go ASAP but he won’t cos Osborne loves him. The players aren’t playing for him simple as that. Wrong formation.. wrong tactics.. wrong manager. It’s simple football really.. it’s not rocket science....... I know I’m only 12 but I know a lot more then you think

Once again we are closer to the bottom of the division than the top.... When does it end?

Not good enough. Maybe Owers master plan is to draw our way to the Play-offs and then win on penalties!!!

Go G.O!!
Agreed.... Do something now and do not let Owers take us to NLS mid-table obscurity. Just not good enough.sgf wrote: ↑18 Aug 2018, 17:08 Ok, so I said give him a chance but surely to God, enough is enough. This is his team, his players and we can't score for toffee. Even the club's official Twitter feed is scratching around for positives.
2 goals in 4 games will get you in the shit over the course of a season.
Thanks Gary, but no thanks.

Slough away
I just posted a very sad and depressing post on other link.... So unlike me to be so depressed about it, Bloody Torquay... But after reading Porky post I am going for the more positive stance.... I agree 2-0 win tomorrow onwards and upwards as We march onto the league title... The Phoenix(or should I day the Gull) starts rising tomorrow in Slough...…..

Facing Reality
I am not really going to get involved in the social decline of UK, I also agree that there seems no link between Torquay Utd decline and Torquay Town.
What saddens me more than anything is the plight of our once proud football league club. We have fallen so low the NLS is akin to a pub league, No disrespect intended. What are we even doing here and my GOD how did we end up here??? Its just so depressing, I keep wanting to say that its! I am not going to waste anymore time following the results, listening to the games getting myself worked up. But I cannot seem to wash my hands of it.
I had to listen last year to Owers interviews about improving and now its the same again in league lower. What is the expectation this season I think we should settle for nothing more than champions is that realistic? No not by all the games so far. Mid table mediocracy is that the expectation?
If we cannot score goals and win away games. We are in for another dismal season! When will it end? If we are still in such a dismal position and playing so poorly after 10 games we have to change manager(incidentally Owers said that's the best we have played in the second half against Oxford! Do those there agree?) Give me something please...….
If we do not get promoted this year what is going to happen to us.... ??? It's so depressing when you think we are talking about getting back to the national league....
Oh I have just read my post, Now I am really depressed apologies to everyone who will read it...… I need a drink....

To be honest I am shocked we have played two games and not conceded a goal!!!! Build from the back.... Certainly need to form a strike force. But four points from two games no goals conceded not a bad start. Anyone hear of anyone coming in before the window??

New kit on the way?
The company that ran the shop pulled out suddenly and Torquay are in the process of finding a new company to take care of the internet part of the shop. That's why you cannot order anything on line.No date has been set for the shop to come back on line. I received this information direct from the club.

Season ticket prices and match day prices are released
Is this all part of Osbourne big plan!!! Making the season tickets a deal to try and bring fans back or at least keep them someway happy...
Invest in the training facilities.
Financially support team so they can remain full-time and hopefully bounce back at the first attempt.
All this so he can destroy Torquay and make money on the ground!!
Am I missing something?
