De Silva Returns To QPR
Agree with DevonBee, he is an out and out winger, not a wingback or chopped to play on the left or even in the back four, undoubtedly QPR keeps in regular contact with him and he only has to say this is turning into a shitshow , get me out of here and they will protect what is potentially a very go...

Torquay United v Bromley - Tues 28th Feb
What a joke of a side. We deserve to go down. How is Gary still in a job?

Torquay United v Bromley - Tues 28th Feb
I’m not sure it makes any difference who is in midfield seeing as our only tactic is long ball. We bypass the midfield most of time, which is part of the reason we are such a poor side.

Gary Johnson, stick or twist?
I honestly can’t see how anyone can defend GJ after seeing today’s performance. No effort (except for Lapslie and Nico). Tactically awful. Aimless long ball at every opportunity. It’s so dreadful to watch every time Halstead has the ball in his hands he pumps it long straight away. The defenders cle...

Torquay United v Southend United Sat 25 Feb KO 3pm
I have to say today was an absolute disgrace. The standard of football was nothing short of embarrassing. I cannot remember us at any point passing the ball instead we aimlessly pump it long over and over again. The only player is saw put any effort in was lapslie. Nico the only other player who loo...

Dorking v Torquay Tuesday 21st February
Disastrous result, which may well prove costly at the end of the season. After Saturday I felt we had a shot at getting out of the bottom 4 but it suddenly looks a long way off again!

3 games on Tuesday that really stand out Dorking vs Us Gateshead vs Oldham Maidenhead vs Yeovil Although I think Oldham will probably be ok if they lose to Gateshead they are right back in it and have a tough run of games after that. Hopefully you’re right about Halifax as we need as many teams as p...

Will we stay up?
After todays results the table now looks much more favourable. With Gateshead, Dorking, York, Yeovil and Maidenhead all losing they will all be looking behind them with us and Scunthorpe winning. Massive opportunity on Tuesday to drag ourselves out of the relegation zone. Realistically Maidstone are...

To update this: Based on this season’s points per game to date we would need 50 points to finish one above relegation (above Dorking). As we are currently on 25 points we’d need another 25 from 19 games. That is 1.32 points per game, which over a season would give a mid-table position (currently ab...

Torquay v Maidstone. 28/02/23.
A very poor game in terms of quality but today was just about 3 points so I’m not too fussed. It looks almost certain Maidstone will be 1 of the 4 that go down after today although their next 3 matches are Yeovil, Scunthorpe and Oldham. It’s going to be a big ask but realistically any points we can ...

Torquay v Maidstone. 28/02/23.
If ever there was a must win game then this is it. With Woking away then Notts County after we simply have to win today. Defeat for Maidstone and it’s hard to see them having enough games to get out of trouble. I think we will have enough going for a 2-1 win.
