Re: Wrong team on ticket?
Im going to guess that they started printing ticket before the 2nd leg was played to get them out to the clubs for sale on Sunday. More printed after Fridays game and pushed out a day later?

Re: Can I buy some tickets please?
No doubt you all know what a problem it is to get through to the club on the phone. I think it would be a good idea to start a thread with the details of tickets required, & hopefully the club will read it & will ring you back. Phone number.........No. of tickets........Price........Prefere...

Re: £26 or £36 tickets
Have you sat in the front rows behind the goal? You need to be at least 6 rows back in the WL blocks or you can forget about seeing anything in the other half...Richinns wrote:There is not a bad view at Old Trafford. Stay with £26 singers.

Re: Replacement for Buckle (if he goes)
You're starting to sound like Merse. Locals? Apathy? To be honest I agree but can we honestly say the Club do enough to target new fans let alone keep them? People of a certain age aren't going to change their habits and start going to Plainmoor, schoolkids are a different matter, entice them and y...

Re: Replacement for Buckle (if he goes)
Ticketing issues didn't help in that situation either though to be fair although I blame the fact it was televised for keeping many exiles away. We had a larger crowd for Chesterfield but that wasn't live on Sky. Dave, Im sure being on Sky didnt help either. Im not on about the exiles though (as I ...

Re: Replacement for Buckle (if he goes)
If returning league football to the bay, playing good quality attacking football and making the play off finals is not enough to spark interest to drive the revenue side of the business then I'm not sure there is much point in throwing more money at it. We now have youth and reserve sides and this ...

Re: Replacement for Buckle (if he goes)
Fletch, you like to pick other peoples posts to bits rather than make your own points, in this case you clearly didn't read/understand/care what I'd written so please don't try and infer I'm not chilled, as I said previously, being a player coach has absolutely nothing to do with management at all....

Re: Replacement for Buckle (if he goes)
Do you seriously think a player coach can say he has experience as a Manager? Don't make me laugh. Buckle had experience in a short spell as "assistant" to Tisdale which is what I said. Your argument is just pedantic and pretty pathetic to be honest. Chill out Dave, remember your blood pr...

Re: Ticket Fiasco
To be fair to Man U, as much as I don't like them, I don't believe they really get anything out of hosting this - they just get the costs covered (and maybe a little discretionary fixed bonus for the trouble), but ultimately it matters little to them if it's just an attendance of 50, or a sell out....

Re: Replacement for Buckle (if he goes)
So coaching the team/deciding tactics etc isnt one of the primary aspects of being a football manager?Southampton Gull wrote:Fletch, player/coach? Are you kidding me? That has zero to do with MANAGING a club.

Re: Replacement for Buckle (if he goes)
Buckle had no experience either, apart from a short stint as assistant to Tiswas. That said, I'd rather we had Hargreaves than Hilly, who is a serious contender. I thought he had 2 years there starting as player/coach under Ingy and continued as coach/assistant manager under Tis? Thats not really n...

Re: Replacement for Buckle (if he goes)
I believe Hargreaves is already inline for the job. I know we're looking for someone up and coming that wont cost the earth, but surely someone with at least some actual experience of coaching at L2/BSP level is needed. I would like to see it offered to Shaun TBH. Perhaps its time for him to strike...

At least we are not a joke club anymore and we should get some decent applicants and not some totally inexperienced cheap...

Re: Buckle seen in Bristol
Not sure who you're referring to, but only Branston was on a 12 month deal as far as I'm aware and Bevan is the only other key player who's contract runs out this summer. Tbh, of the 3 you mention only losing Branston would particularly bother me. While Robinson and Tomlin both have better technica...
