2020-21 Season Start
Today's announcements about the postponement of large crowd experiments does not augur well for a September start for the EFL and October for lower tiers. There were 6 cases of CV19 in Torbay in week 20 July - 26 July which is + 4 compared with the previous week. (Cases include positive tests of pe...

2020-21 Season Start
If, as I expect, the Gov't allow the start of the season with crowds capped at 25 per cent, Plainmoor allocation of 1,625 will be disappointing, but will, nonetheless, hand the club a much-needed lifeline to commence the season. These authoritarian rules are constantly changing according to who shou...

2020-21 Season Start
I have just seen a post on NL fans facebook page quoting the Dover Chairman. He is saying their ground will be limited to 15% of capacity for the coming season. If that was applied at Plainmoor, it would mean around 1,000 spectators only. I can only see problems ahead until social distancing is aba...

Why? because of the time scale? It can be done with an Antigen rapid diagnostic test instead of a full blown modular test. Whether it will happen, well that's another story.Plainmoor78 wrote: ↑30 Jul 2020, 16:03 Really? That sounds more unbelievable than the crap being posted on the coronavirus thread.

For me it would be quite logical for non-league clubs to suspend official club away support until the new year (then review) to make it easier for home clubs and their fans to adapt to social distancing rules and would also provide the extra space to do so.

Jean-Yves Koué Niate has signed for Spanish club Águilas FC. The Frenchman signed for Aldershot Shots at the end of January following his stint at Torquay United. He now makes the move to join the Murcian club, who last season played in the Tercera División Group 13. Águilas are a fourth-tier club i...

London streets full of revellers as the pubs re-open. Registers keep of customers names and address for track and trace. Most put Micky Mouse/Disneyland with a few Donald Ducks thrown in for good measure. Police Federation say drunk people don't social distance (who would have thought). All this is ...

I think it is reasonable to say at least 10 or so clubs will find themselves in the position very shortly and do not be suprised it we find ourselves in double digits as time goes on - many clubs are only trading because they are deferring wages, tax and other creditors. If this does occur we could ...

Easing of lockdown is moving fast and when September comes around, we will be in a very different situation than we are now as a country, Health advice on the transmission of the virus is that it is safer when people are outside. A sign of things to come:
Scunthorpe United's mass exodus with all 11 out-of-contract first team players not being offered new deals , forced by the financial implications of the ongoing coronavirus crisis, which is driving big changes to their playing budgets.
