Regarding the bits in bold...... Our offer of investment , which was substantial , was there early in the season and up until the point when both Paul Cox and dean edwards left in late september. It felt as if we were never wanted by some people on the board. No connection to norman other than havi...

Whilst I'm not expecting him to be the next Jamie Vardy, at best he could turn out to be another Kieffer Moore, who has had a decent career so far after appearing for Paignton Saints, or - at worst - he could be another Karl Baker and disappear back into local football as quickly as he arrived.

This idea might be worth exploring - what if we play a 4-3-3 similar to the one used by Martin Ling during the 2011-12 season. The idea involves a midfield trio of Courtney Richards (ball winner/holding player), Bayan Fenwick (box-to-box player)and Josh Carmichael as the playmaker in the absence of ...

What are you saying you want the Butcher to carve him up! :~D :) :-D It's reassuring to know that a player uses his local Butchers instead of visiting Tesco or Sainsburys. If what you are saying is true, then Kevin Nicholson needs to route out those players and replace them with ones with a more pr...

Good idea, maybe for each home game we could invite an ex-player to every home game and get them to do the half-time draw and Steve Breed could then ask them questions about their time at Plainmoor. I know Argyle do a similar thing with ex-players.

Foyle did indeed issue them with a winding up order, but it was the unpaid tax bill which ultimately led to their extinction.mushroom wrote: Realy

Any creditor can wind up a business for non payment of a debt if happy to pay the costs The most likely party would be as you state, be HMRC which the Club is fully up to date with so no immediate risk there Only HMRC have any real power when it comes to winding up a football club. All debts to HMR...

I am not privy to exact up to date details but on the forecast back 6 months ago which l know has not gone well there is a black hole of circa 100k at end of this month It is the very nature of football to try and keep positive and never disclose issues such as this The Board are really up to their...

This all sounds very Kevin Heaney/Peter Ridsdale esque when they tried to buy Argyle under the guise of Bishop International.mushroom wrote:

That fact of the matter the restructure has caused the current liability. They alone have to deal with hopefully not at the cost of relegation Added in 5 minutes 6 seconds: No Bond was paid to the National League by Torquay United. Its as simple as that Truro was in Administration with a 4.5m Debt....

But asking for a Bond is standard practice, as is the same for Conference North/South clubs. Truro City needed to pay a similar bond to fulfil their fixtures a few years ago. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20005762 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32992910 It seems you are just trying to...
