Where did it all go wrong.....
I believe it all went wrong when Martin Ling went. A good manager, brought in good players, ran the team well etc and just cause he had an illness which so many people struggle with(myself included so I know what it's about) he was dispensed. He should of taken on the job again as soon as he was bet...

Club Ownership
I hate to negative but I can't help but think that Youth department will be shut down. I imagine the new consortium would want to get the football club back to its former glory and back in the league and put all there money into that rather than running the Youth Academy. Extra money could be spent ...

Good news. Surely a good thing that local businessmen want to get involved so they surely care about the Football Club and the area.
Feeling optimistic. Let's hope there are no hiccups and we can start planning for the new season soon.

Good luck to him.
I understand the contract offered to him was laughable!

Takeover 50/50 ?
I'm glad this is taking its time. It proves that they are not rushing into anything and that it is being throughly thought through with the best interests of the club at heart.
Kelvin/Thea aren't going to spend as much time as they have on this to then make a rash decision.

I bet he wishes he was at Bournemouth tonight.
Could of been a Premier League coach at grounds like Old Trafford, Emirates etc.
I'm sure he will look forward to a cold and rainy Tueaday night at Dover though!!

Personally gutted to see Downes go. Downes and MacDonald with 2 good players either side of them would have been more than enough for us next year at the back. I hope Ajala signs. Heard rumours he wants to leave but I'm really hoping he doesn't. I feel he will be better next year. His pace is fright...

Torquay v Lincoln Tue 14th
Poor game. Ball spent alot of time in the air and alot of head tennis but hey a win is a win so can't knock it. Downes was a rock again!!
On another note, was anybody close to the steward on the popside tonight who continuely shouted at the officials all night? It was quite funny!!!

Did anyone think Bowman was out of order today?
Scored his penalty then thought it would be a good idea to throw the ball at the keeper to then spark a melee.

Disrespectful. No need. Ricey knows what's coming, it's going to hard for him. Great servant to the club. Only Torquay keeper to save a penalty, in open play, at Wembley. Martin Rice, in my opnion you always did your best, that can't be said about some TQY players in my 50 yrs of watching. You have...
