Full time V Part Time
WSM have average attendances of 1200 are part time. Yesterday they had quality former EFL players Rueben Reid and Robbie Willmott playing. We get twice their attendance so I see no reason why we couldn't attract the best part time players combined with a number of full time pros.I[/b] Not only tha...

Full time V Part Time
Part time football will be the end of Torquay United. Only an accountant would think this is a good idea. And it's accontants that have put us in this position. Years of neglecting the product and customers have jed to this, driven by myopic bean counters. Yes, but an accountant wouldn't think it a...

Yeovil Town v Torquay Utd Friday 29th 3pm
With Dawson and Marshall doubtful I would have thought it would be better to leave them out today and make sure that they are fit for Monday. Also have to be careful with Moxey, Lapslie and Hall. Best to be able to put out our best for a winnable game against WSM than try to win both and end up losi...

Staying Up - Relegation Battle
Part-time local players are fine if the club is going to yo-yo between NL and NLS but if there are ambitions to push for a return to the EFL the players will need to be full-time and there is not enough local talent available for that. Plymouth and Exeter take the pick of the best local players who...

Staying Up - Relegation Battle
Weston Taunton and Truro have all done ok against us with local players. The advantage of local players is that they are already nearby. Full time players often have to relocate and I think that this is the big stumbling block. It's ok for a young lad to move into a flat or the gulls nest , but for ...

This season Archer has scored 2 and Collins 1. I wouldn't call either of them strikers. Asa hall has scored more than both of them put together and he's been a sicknote for half the season.

He was contracted to us. We didn't have to let him go. At the very least we should have set a fee that would allow us to source a replacement as good as he was. As far as I am led to believe we let him go for free.

I thought when you're in administration 9/10 all loanees go back to their clubs?., i.e. why have we got a full back/midfielder on loan when we already have players in those positions on the books?esp if they are costing us monies? Are they costing us money though? Some clubs will pay the full wages...

We have been poor all season, but we seem to have completely fell apart since Donnelan left. Who's decision was it to let him go?

Aaron Downes Comments Post Tonbridge.
To be fair, up front is pretty poor too. And to be fair to Downes, these are the players that Johnson signed and again to be fair to Johnson of course he's going to big them up when they were signed, he's hardly likely to come out and say that "this shower of shit is all I could afford". I...
