National League North Final is Chorley v Spennymoor.
Both went to penalties and Chorley v Altrincham saw Chorley keeper save 3 pens.
I hope United do not have to go to Spennymoor!!

Probably good for us that moneybags Salford won't be in our league next season. They would have been one of the more difficult teams to finish
above. Only 8000 at Wembley though compared to our 35000 v Cambridge

Everything you southerners thought about the north is encapsulated in Spennymoor (or Spendymore as they are known locally). Avoid the place if you can.

Don't forget Cambridge out numbered us by about 3 -1 on that magnificent day.

As opposed to Yeovil, Chesterfield, Notts County, Wrexham, Stockport, Dagenham, Hartlepool. Eastleigh etc you mean? ;-)

Then you have the sides gradually improving like Solihull, Fylde, Harrogate etc.

Aldershot aside, the other three teams relegated from NL were dead wood anyway. They will be replaced by some teams from NLN / NLS who will be able to do more than simply prop up the division. It will be one of the most difficult NL seasons in memory next season IMO.

Having said that, what a joy to be in such a position to be able to play these teams.

Well said, and don't forget Aldershot may still be there depending on the outcomes at Gateshead and Ebbsfleet.

Mostly full time clubs as opposed to the part timers we have played this season.

Definitely no "walk in the park" !!!
