Hi guys, I am the Editor of the TorquayTalk blog site. Louis got in touch on Twitter and kindly asked us to post articles from the site on here - so here I am!

Just a bit of background, I've supported the Gulls for almost 30 years and started TT about two years ago mainly to share my views on the club - but since it started I've been joined by various contributors, and by last season we were covering every game the club played. Which considering how bad we were was quite an achievement I think!!

Anyway below is a few samples of recent articles on the site:

The TT Match Verdict for TUFC V Dulwich: https://wp.me/p8hUrT-3lK - This one is penned by Ben Currie and uses a number of headings to summarise the match, basically an alternative to the (dull) standard match report that you'd see on the official site.

A Catch Up With Leroy Rosenior MBA: https://wp.me/p8hUrT-3ks - Leroy agreed to answer some qs on his time at Plainmoor, mainly the 2003-04 season really!

That's more than enough for now, the East Thurrock match verdict will see the debut of Alan Merson for TT - looking forward to it.

Phew! Lets face it - failing to beat East Thurrock would have been extremely disappointing, especially with Woking triumphing down in Cornwall.

Great read? I'm not so sure. In only the third line we are informed that 'Well it could all of come to pass....' Send for the syntax police!

Evening guys - sorry for the delay on this, I had to make a contributor substitution! Here is the TT match verdict from Sam Druiff on the WSM loss, very frustrating stuff against a team who are better than their league position suggests - well they are when they play us anyway...

A good read....as bad as the referee was on Saturday Niate was lucky to remain on the pitch. He clearly put hands on the ref and him after the Cameron booking and really should have gone for that mindless act. Not his finest day Saturday (too many had similar ones!) but lets try to get a little perspective and draw a line under one bad performance and move forward. Big game Tuesday - lets hope we get the reaction we saw after our last defeat.
