Jeez some negativity here. I’m over the moon with the 4 points from the last 2 games. Hard fought, tough games in which I very much doubt we’d have picked up more than a point from last season.

Sometimes it’s hard for a team at our level to follow up what was a perfect performance at Hartlepool. Expectations rise and often teams don’t reach those heights in the games after. Our recent results prove to me the group has learnt a lot from last season. We’ve got experience, we can play a few different systems, we are resolute and the quality is there when we can show it.

Enjoy it chaps.

JamieE. I totally agree with everything you and others say about today's brilliant victory. This is why a find the manager's comments post match, bizarre.

Probably wanted to keep the players feet on the ground and point out who's the boss....

Great result for United on the road.
At this stage of the season what I look at is points dropped.
We have dropped just 5 points from a possible 27.
Only 4 clubs get close. Eastleigh and Sutton have dropped 7 each but Sutton have played 8 and Eastleigh just 7.
Stockport and Solihull have dropped 8 each but again only played 7 games.
No one else is close. Woking are 3rd but have dropped 13 points.
We have the points 22 of them from 9 games. Superb.
What ever way you look at it this is a terrific start to 2020/2021 season.

I'd say workmanlike performance.
Dawlish slipped, otherwise they would not have scored.
Should have wrapped it up about 4-1 to be honest.
Can understand why Sir Gary had a bit of a go when we so clinical v Hartlepool.
Up the Gulls.

Yes a workmanlike performance. With no Moxey at left back and Cameron playing out of position in his place. Randell was suspended and Little looking like he will be out for a while. They are set up by the look of it to not concede and don't score many either. They will be down the bottom of the table quite a while unless they get more offensive style of play.

Speaking from experience, it usually does. Mind you, now you've crossed him he'll find his wife and have a jolly good laugh at your expense, if he can find her repair kit as she's been a bit "flat" recently.

Yeah totally get why GJ is upping the ante, TUFC are top and he wants to stay there. Five points is a bit of a false advantage when teams have games in hand. Good on him with difficult games coming up in December

GJ was right to be downcast and philosophical we where sloppy on numerous passes yesterday at the back and only McDonald’s great save before our winner and there free header blazing over. Having said this we played good attacking football and the final touch was missing. We deserved the win but we had to work for it. 3 points with a 10 day break before Wealdstone

As for Warren we know his legs are gone. However he had to play as Moxey was injured meaning Cameron had to move to left back. He is ideal as a sub or the odd 90mins for the team.

Also he took her to the doctors with a very snotty nose.
He was told she was 'full up' & needed emptying !!
