National League Wealdstone v Torquay United Tuesday 1st Dec 19.45pm
United travel to Wealdstone tomorrow to meet a team who are scoring plenty but conceding more.
Although they are 5th they have conceded 23 goals to 7 by United.
They have taken one point from their last 3 games.
I predict 3-1 to United. Ever the optimist.

Yes , I see that in their 5 home games there have been 26 goals - 13 for and 13 against.
0-0 then ! Seriously though we should score a couple .

Hopefully we can get three points. They do concede a fair few so should get a positive result. 3-1 to us Gulls

Are their fans allowed back? I fear the wrath of the Wealdstone Raider that could put our lads under the cosh!

If we lose and Sutton win, they will go top. We need to send a message out to the chasing teams that they will have to earn the top spot. Must win game followed by 2 more huge games. Does the team have the mental toughness to grind out results? I suspect the answer is yes. It would be nice to see some of our previous walking wounded back in contention for a game as well. 0-2 to the good guys.

Wealdstone have a problem. Goalkeeper John Isted has been recalled by parent Club Luton Town.
They are struggling to find a replacement at short notice.

Sutton aren’t playing tonight but agree if we can win that will stretch our lead and send out a message to the rest.davethegull2 wrote: ↑01 Dec 2020, 06:59 If we lose and Sutton win, they will go top. 1 - 0 down at half time. We have had a lot of the ball but too many loose passes. Hopefully Wealdstone will tire in the 2nd half.
