Making Memories At Plainmoor

Post by TorquayFans.com »

2023/24 saw many more local youngsters experience live football at Plainmoor for the very first time, thanks to our popular First-Time Junior Visitors initiative. All football fans know how special their first match is, and how their first visit to a football ground to watch their heroes is an occasion never to be forgotten. Those memories, often in the presence of  their family and friends, can often spark a lifelong passion for the sport and their local Club. Here at Torquay United, we’ve been delighted to have welcomed a whole host of young fans to Plainmoor by issuing complimentary tickets at many home games during the past nine months. Every home league game saw 10 free tickets in our JMV Family Stand made available for new fans aged 12 or below, and to add to their excitement, these new junior fans also received a special memento of a free certificate to mark their first game. In addition to this, TUFC has continued to offer FREE tickets to all supporters aged under 7, when purchased with a full paying adult, with the next generation of Gulls fans always welcome at Plainmoor! With 2023/24 now complete, we’d like to say thank you to every new fan that has become part of the Torquay United family during the past season, and we can’t wait to see you again in 2024/25!
