What would Buckle do now?!

Post by Wisconsin_gull »

-> 2 games to go
-> Definitely in the play offs
-> Good shot still at the auto spot
-> Proven system, best defense and keeper we have had in ages, squad is battle worn after a lot of games
-> Just had a couple of flat games on the trot

Put yourself in a parallel universe for a moment. What do you think PB would do now?

My money would be on Manse to RB for a starter!

Are Rochdale, Chesterfield, Exeter or Wycombe looking for a new manager?

Tell everyone how amazing he is, that we should be thankful that he is our manager and then go to a job interview at Sid James.
Mmmmmm, beeeeeeeer.

Drop Ellis immediately for missing that chance at Wimbledon. Useless he is!

Go on the media and take credit for anything positive, whilst blaming others for anything negative.

Get 3 loan players in of unproven pedigree.

Be unfaithful to family, and club.

Go to bed.

(not necessarily in that order).

Blame the stands at Wimbledon being too close to the pitch.

The fans behind the dugout were too loud and they couldnt here the instructions

Bring in four loans to replace the players that had an off day

Blame the rain.

If I was Paul Buckle now, I would be slashing my wrists with the thought of having to live in Luton

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Hate to say it, but he'd probably do quite a good job of geeing up the players. One thing we can't doubt is that he knows how to finish a season well (apart from one game right at the very end when we just fall apart and undo all his good work).
