Spoke to a couple Luton fans last night regarding a certain Mr Buckle and LRT.

Interestingly, they had the same usual complaints. Players out of position, dodgy substitutions, blaming the pitch... The list went on and on. All far too familiar. They were generally pleased with his work though. Deja vu, much?

As for LRT, he was originally brought in as a left back and supposedly was nothing short of useless. He then got moved to centre back and has been quite steady, playing as the covering defender.

I also spoke to a Peterborough following friend who confirmed that Bobby is a legend and is becoming very much a fan favourite with the Posh supporters. They are delighted with his command of the area and he allows the defence to push further forward. I'm delighted to hear he's doing well.

I too have paid close attention to Bobby at the Posh. Judging from the FLS highlights, there was bugger all he could have done about the goals he conceded on Saturday. So pleased to see him do well.
Do you think we have a clause regarding international appearance?

Matt.

Yep, seems all three of the lads who moved upwards have become first-teamers at their new clubs.

The only one who seems to have failed (which is too strong a word) is Robbo. Even Nicky Wroe is starting for PNE; he also seems to be on free kick duty.

I always rated Wroe so highly. I thought he was the type of player (like Eunan) who could thrive at a higher level, with better pitches to suit his passing style. Good on them.

Saw Steve Morrall in Newton Abbot town centre. Remember him playing for us back in the late 70's

Remember Steve Morrall, excellent winger.
Scored some outstanding goals, but never seemed to celebrate, just strolled back to halfway line like he was walking the dog.
Wasn't he a Uni graduate as well, went on to become Tax inspector I thought.

Think Ellis and the rest of the Crewe team had a bit of a torrid time away at Brentford at the weekend mind!

Did you see Ellis' howler for one of the goals? Doomer.

Jamie Ward picked out by Zola as the 'one to watch', proves the Watford boss right by scoring.

Big Bobby scored an unfortunate own goal for Posh yesterday. Seemed a weird one on the FLS, hell of a lot of backspin but I wasn't 100% sure he even touched it!

Still, Nicky Wroe scored for Preston against Swindon today, seems to have adjusted to life at PNE so far.

Eunan made his first contribution as well on Saturday with his first assist for Bournemouth, yet to score though!

He got two assists, they only mentioned the second one (the corner) on the FLS.
