Is the round in which we enter divided into North and South or is it national?

The 4th qualifying round is regional, north and south

The 1st round proper where league 1 and league 2 teams join is national

As stated above, our first FA Cup game this season is on Saturday 25 October 2014. We should know who our opponents will be sometime over this coming weekend when the draw takes place.

Do they open Wembley and hire, at great expense, two people to draw the balls and one to call the teams, plus a full tv crew, or do they just get the teaboy to make up the draw at this stage?

Matt.

Just some (maybe) interesting anorak facts

Some ex Torquay players we could meet again (I think) are Tim Sills (Weymouth), Alan Connell (Havant) and Kyle Critchell (Dorchester)

If we draw Gloucester, they play at Cheltenham's ground

Maidstone get crowds not too far lower than Torquay and would bring a very large following to Devon if we drew them, I would think 1000 plus

Canvey Island is perhaps the roughest and unfriendliest football club I have been to....if we draw them away, let's hope our ASBO youths who turned up at Telford give that game a go.......as it would be the last time we ever see them !

For purely selfish reasons I'd like Weston Super Mare away.....at least if we lose the drive home is quick.

At all costs we must not draw Willand......the humiliation if we lost would be too much to bear......
