Although booze itself can be a problem, if booze is involved it's probably a symptom of a deeper underlying problem, rather than being the only problem.

You know that's not true! It doesn't matter what league we are in next season, it's in the blood.

wont matter anyway as most people on hear wont be watching the team next year.

In reply to the OP, we are aware Buckle was here along with some of our ex-players for a mid-week game a cople of weeks ago. As stated, his son has also just signed for us, so he would be around if he's out of work and in the area.

Regards Ling coming back next season. I have been told he wants to come back now and the club has said no. There was also the strong suggestion that his problems definitely are booze related although this has not been stated categorically.

I wonder if Martin Ling will be kept away beyond May????? Not a great situation for the club to be in......

That's exactly the point I was subtly hinting at whilst trying not to be overtly insensitive to Martin Ling's position..! ;-)

No he won't.

We don't have any money - he's useless with no money....he spends his way out of trouble.

Besides, he left us in the lurch so he can sod off as far as I'm concerned.
