True reason I chose this grammatical structure is that once upon a time, in a land far away, my girlfriend of the time, and of that land, commented on my use of said structure as the most beautiful English, so therefore I retain a soft spot.
And a present day Americanism it may be, but certainly one that stems from the 'beautiful' complexity of our all encompassing language.
