Now I know why Bevs doesn't dominate his area in the way a man of his size should. It must take a lot of courage to go up for crosses when you know that you are making your sole remaining kidney vulnerable to injury. Respect.

Great article. After all he has been through, playing week in week out for Torquay must be so satisfying for him. I hope he continues to play for many years for us.

Come on Bevs, a 5th round tie with Torquay is your destiny!!!

Wow, I knew he had a kidney injury but never realised how severe things got for him.

Thank god he was able to continue playing the game he loves, waited a while to gain the number one jersey with us but he's never looked back since becoming number 1.

Interesting blog and its good that it brings Bevan's kidney problems into the limelight. Most importantly though, he seems pretty up for it!
