No worries Rich and I thankyou for your response. Unfortunately much humour with footy fans is based around poking fun at their club, players, managers etc especially when they aren't doing too well and I accept it is not helping but I doubt Knill will be affected by my signature. If Knill is subject to negativity it maybe has something to do with the fact that he hasn't supplied us with anything positive to discuss or give praise for. He is in control and if he doesn't like being criticised then he can do something about it.

Rock n roll! Let's all have a pear and go and visit an owl sanctuary. :)

Andy - not a personal attack on you (as I know you better than the haters out there!) but to me if you quote someone you cannot make up what they said within it.

I know you mean this light heartedly (and I must admit I did not like the original quote because a 0-0 at home to Mansfield should never really feel like a win!) but every time you post,it grinds on me a little bit more as it just adds to the negative feeling towards Knill at the moment - some of what is totally unjustified.

Just my personal opinion of course but it annoyed me to the stage where I felt I had to say something!

It is meant to be in trivial jest. Obviously he didn't say that. Can he sue me? Matt? You're the legal guy, can he sue me? If so then tough, I've got f*ck all for courts to take! I am a man of minimal possessions and zero savings.

Andy - I have to ask about your signature. Did Knill actually word for word say that because if not then you really cannot quote him in such a belittling way.

I remember him saying after the Mansfield game "It feels like a win. It was definitely a point gained and I think it might have been three if we kept 11 on the field"

I've not blamed Lathrope anyway. Damon is a decent player. Craig I've not blamed although he was dog awful at Burton and McCourt shouldn't be here. Harding yes because he is one dimensional and poor at that. I'm talking about the wingers like Chappell, Bodin, Azeez etc, they don't retain the ball enough and so it comes straight back.

He is everywhere except where he should be, like everyone else then. That's part of the reason why we are struggling because Knill is happy for most players to go all over the shop. If Mansell is all over the place is it not up to Knill to look at this and address it is some way then?
