Well here is the team I picked on an earlier thread from a while back called My Favourite all time Gulls team, whats yours! So I have pasted it here.

To be honest my all time 11 that I rate is pretty much the same as favorites so maybe apart from the possibility that the subs could swap with anyone in the first 11 in their position -

----------------Southall-------------------

----Holmes - Lloyd - Elliott - Kelly--------

----Jack - Russell - Fowler - Loram---------

---------- Graham - Dobson -----------------

Subs – Veysey, Caldwell, M Holmes, Sharpe, McNichol

Quite a few could have made it in, but these fine gentlemen that were once intrepid heroes steeped of the yellow and blue were who I thought of straight away. :-D

Interesting when I cross reference it with my top 10 from the Top 100 Torquay United Players thread -

1.David Graham
2.Rodney Jack
3.Lee Sharpe
4.Mark Loram
5 Alex Russell
6.Jason fowler
7.Tom Kelly
8.Paul Holmes
9.Matt Elliott.
10.Kenny Veysey.

Not much difference really, apart from Phil Lloyd makes it in my 11 and Veysey is in the top 10 but Southall is in my favorite/all time 11. Couldnt really choose between those two to be honest, it could be either or, both very good in different ways. There were reasons why I put some on one list but not on the other.

Think I might bump that thread back up.

Sorry, this doesn't cheer me up. Can't see any future, so looking back on old times, the good old days. This is what we're reduced to.. :-/ :'(
