We don't doubt that his van may be faster than A Ford Focus, it's just not going to be faster than MY Ford Focus. Even if you threw your van from the back of a jet, it wouldn't be faster than MY Focus.

My joke was that you looked like one of those 40 year old virgin types, living at home with your Ma, but since we must all be respectful of our mothers (as ordered by the mafia) I wrote it the way I did.
