Guys! I don't want to be a spoilsport but can you please stick to just your nominations on these threads as Chris (Gulliball) has a lot of stats to collate and it would be much easier for him if he didn't have to trawl through each post in order to disect the information he needs.

It can't have been too bad a game then, even if some 'Top 5's' are 'Top 4's' or 'Top 3's'.

Hodgkiss - very good game; easily our best player in my view
Sparkes - worked hard but made the wrong decision a few times
Moore - safe handling, couple of decent saves in the first half to keep us in the game. Bit of a fiasco when he held on to the ball too long
Fitzpatrick - not one of his best games but I've included him because he has done well since he's been at Plainmoor. Sorry to see him go.

Anderson - solid, sensible and good distribution (no hoofing)
Young - a few moments of brilliance and excitement
Sparkes - ran and ran, but lacked variety to his game

McGinty. Good header for the crucial goal. Not much gets past McGinty but he does like to hoof it.
Hodgkiss. A very intelligent player and a player I really like.
Anderson. A solid debut without being outstanding. Just needs games.
Young.Good game. Shame he picked up a groin injury.
