He was released by Plymouth in January, so was a free man. Not sure we can thank Plymouth on this occasion

Really impressed with this addition and surprised also. He'll do a job. Absolutely no doubt. Seen him a few times to be able to have formed an opinion and with his profile as well regarding his career, this all adds up to a great signing IMO.

It represents a good signing in my view - there is no doubt that Barnes seems to be a key player in midfield so its good that he can continue there.

He’ll do an excellent job for you in defence or midfield, he played a significant part in our promotion year, I think you’ll see you’ve got a decent player, hope you can keep your results coming and stay in the National league and sort yourself out for a promotion next season, good luck
