Looks like loan did go through on time but was rested due to knee issue.

Both Andrews and Janneh have had loans extended by 3 months. I'm not sure how long Edwards and Lemonheigh-Evans were signed for?

On the Bristol City loanees Johnson says "We can keep Jake for longer now that he's 21, and I want all of them with us for as long as possible."

As an adage Lemonheigh-Evans made an impressive impact for Wales in the Under-21s Euro 2019 qualifier scoring two of the goals in Wales 3-1 win against Switzerland tonight. Will be available to play for us against Winchester on Sat.

At least now you can put the Nichoitis to bed as he takes over at Mousehole FC.

Love it, absolutely love it.
Both of them useless fickers, gotta blame the tossers who employed them,
The only sensible decision was to get rid of both of them when we did, & that was far too late but there again if we hadn't gone through that time line we wouldn't have GJ in position now.
Gotta believe in fate.

Yet somehow the previous manager succeeded in his remit to retain our National League status............. Twice!!!

You need to accept that Nicholson was able to get more out of players than Owers ever could. Johnson is light years ahead of the pair of them but Nicholson >>>> Owers.

They were unfit when GO arrived ( unless you count being able to 'beat the gaffer at tractor tyre flipping ! ), but even when Owers left they were sti!l as useless as the previous 'on the buses trainee' had made them, but they were fit, fit for **** all I'm afraid to say.

We've not got value for money for Bawling, Banton or Wright. Regis has quickly been bombed out as well. The 4 loan players have pretty much replaced them - 2 on the wing, one central midfielder and a striker.

I would agree though that recruitment in the summer was pretty good overall. Not even those four are bad players for this level. But we only scored in 3 of his 9 games and having already been relegated, he lost the support of the fans and had to go. Gary Johnson has given the club a huge lift in his month in charge, and brought an immediate improvement to the players he inherited.

Owers arrived, said the squad was unfit and he would make them professional. One year later he hadn't improved anything, results were even worse, we had been relegated and fans were in revolt. Johnson arrived, made a point of refusing to criticise the previous manager, and has seen a massive, immediate improvement on the pitch. Quite a striking difference.

You didn't read the question.

Lucy says that the reason that we have the Bristol City loanees is because Owers recruited "several dreadful players in the summer".

None of the players you mentioned were recruited in the summer.

Alan Knill could have gotten more out of them than Owers did 😉

Actually half the players on that list are decent
I am sure Johnson would have got more out them
than Owers did

You're aware that we got relegated last season from the worst league we've ever been in? SOME of the players he brought in for this season are half decent (at this level), but he also brought in the likes of Callum Evans, Guy Gnabouyou, Reece Mitchell, Rhys Murphy, Alex Davey, Jazzi Barnum-Bobb, Josh McQuoid, Jennison Myrie-Williams, Tommy O'Sullivan, Conrad Balatoni and Jakub Sokolik. Some people will try to argue that I'm being harsh on some, of those players, but I'd say the vast vast majority of them were dreadful - hence we got relegated...

Who exactly are the "dreadful" players that Owers signed?
