Yes, agree with comments about the pen - Brunt threw himself across Hall who had every right to kick the ball. It even looked like he touched the ball too as he comes away with it. Disgraceful decision - had it been the other way round I would not even had claimed a penalty, never mind expect one to be given.

Looked weak from all concerned. Brunt falling, Hall appearing tired hanging a leg out, which and the ref giving a decision to make. That said, as a former centre-half, I have been disappointed if it had been given.

Reading their website Woking were lucky to get a point and their goal led a charmed life with St Albans hitting the post twice. Jake Hyde also did his hamstring. I see they play one of their games
in hand on Tues 5th home to Dartford
They also have to go to Bath in a few weeks

Unnecessary final commet, however fully agree with the first bit. They gave their best shot, wasn't quite good enough and needed help from us and the ref

Just can't see Bath matching our results for the rest of the season but who knows.

We might not have played that well yesterday but we were actually winning 2-1 with ten or so minutes to go and but for one of our players having a serious brainfade and trying to smash a penalty to Nagasaki and back it would have been all over.

If you had played that game another ten times from the position we were in when Andrews took the penalty its unlikely that we would have lost any of them.

Even then Bath needed a debatable penalty to get back into the game, there are enough people saying that their player dived for the penalty (even the chap who does the commentary for radio devon)

Its typical of our luck though - looks like another ref who was stagestruck.

Even then after getting in front Bath still had to rely on us missing another open goal to win the game.

By my reckoning that's two giilt edged chances missed and a penalty. We could quite easily have got FIVE and that was on an off day. Much seems to have been made of how we wouldn't have deserved to win had we managed it but it seems that Bath might have been just as fortunate to win the game even more so.

Yes you would but having seen Bath, I don't think they will be challenging for top spot at the end.

Can't see why this is a two-horse race. If we had started the game in third and played the top team at Plainmoor, coming from behind to win late in the game, we would believe we were in with a good shout too.

Arcadia has been saying that every team is going to beat us, whether its Truro, Winchester or whoever.

His "prediction" doesn't mean bugger all - he actually seems quite pleased that Bath won and predictably reckons that they were the better side.

However Bath fans on their forum reckoned they were lucky to win and had Andrews not acted like a complete arse we would have won again comfortably.

Shit happens we were bound to lose sooner or later. Can't really disagree with Dazza at all - we have a very young team and it seems that we shot ourselves in the foot today.

Its not optimism - I though we would win today because I think we are a better side than them.

It's possible today's defeat is a blessing in disguise. The stupid over optimism by many and not just Brucie can't turn our team into 11 mature and seasoned performers. Our side are youngsters who can play some real great stuff but also can show their inexperience and with some their lack of maturity. Best we show that now than in the final games. It has been tricky for GJ to risk team spirit by bringing in newcomers while we have been on such a winning run. Now I am sure he knows what he has to do while the options are at their greatest. No doubt the players will know why as well.
