SNW has asked me to start this thread as i've suggested i meet him at the wentworth house hotel near to the don valley stadium
it may be a good idea if anyone who can make it turns up there too, heres a map, but theres very scant info on the web about it

its a lovely old brick built pub, used to be part of the now defunct wards brewery, with a tiled floor and its in the shadow of the infamous forgemasters steelworks
walking distance from the tram stop and the don valley stadium itself
alight from the trams, either from meadowhall if yr parking there, or from the city centre if yr up for the weekend, at the valley centertainment stop
