forevertufc, thank you for the correction to your earlier article, I took your article at face value as someone who usually knows their subject but then did think why would the premier give us something for nothing, while the 125 million is good for now, does that mean next season there will be no payment at all to help us all along.

I need to issue a correction to a previous post, due to my skim reading a few things I've unintentionally been a bit misleading. The £125 million that's come from the premier league as pointed out to me was not a donation, extra money, gift, it was in fact an advance on money that would have filtered down from the premier league anyway.

Jerry I agree with your sentiments, no matter what our thoughts are, on where or how this covid-19 outbreak came from got out, or the politics behind it, it's real, and it's here. From the super rich, who can use their vast wealth to help the less well off, to the just getting by, and poor, who could do things like volunteer to be a NHS responder, to just checking your elderly neighbour is ok, there's so much we can all do, in walks of life.

I just want to make sure all of us fans are fully understanding the legal implications for football governing bodies, and clubs around this country and globe, are beyond massive, and I'm we all do know this. It's now beginning look to look very difficult to play out the remaining games for the 2109-20 season, it's not just clubs at the top of the premier league/Championship who have already instructed lawyers, it's clubs in our league and below that have also instructed lawyers, unless some agreement to resolve 2019-20, for instance (suggestion only) using average points per game to produce a final league table, with promotions only, yes this would mean some divisions with higher numbers, but this could re-balanced at the end of season 2020-21, or some other resolution, then the potential compensation bill will run into billions, could destroy football as we know it.

They are more likely to want to shorten this season - seeing as Euro 2021 will be played in June/July.
I would be against that and seasons should be lengthened accordingly to take into account every league and every team....

Agree with your sentiments on the players. As I've said right from the start football is now million billion pound industry, whilst clubs at our level, including our own are the most vulnerable, if football collapsed at the top, all lower league football would die with it anyway.

This is not aimed at you, but we fans have to understand that players at football clubs are listed as assets on the clubs balance sheet, so fans can slag of the likes at Levy at Spurs etc, all they like, if he, and other premier club chairmen demanded players took wage cuts, players in turn could find their clubs in breach of contract and walk away, no chairmen is going risk wiping £50 million of his clubs balance sheet.

There can be no doubt that football with supporters will not occur before the autumn of this year and then only if we are lucky. We know the FA and premier have held many meetings over the last few weeks and actually come up with nothing of interest to protect the game of football. The premier will always have a lucrative market world wide for their game,so they will protect their interests and no one else's, the PFA have one narrow focus and that is to protect the interests of the players, the FA well the initials say it all, they will do whatever their financial masters the Premier tell them, so who is looking after the interest of the clubs, well actually no one.
If all the premier league players donated just one weeks salary then this will pay all the running costs for a whole season for every team from championship to national league south, would they consider such a altruistic move , I doubt it, this should not in any way be considered a charitable act, it would actually guarantee the survival of all the teams outside of the premier. Without it I really do fear for the survival of not only our club but many, many, more.

Hi i've just had a surreal kind of thought idea
in maybe helping the fortunes of the club in the short term
What if it was at all possible that we could make an arrangement with TUFC whereby we could still buy online tickets
for the upcoming matches even though they have been cancelled! (indefinitely)
The next match vs Bromley Sat. 4th April whereby,say if we paid say a % towards the match ticket
then received whatever % deduction against that fixture once the season finally goes ahead
(Like a coded text verification)
Any thought or ideas waiting in eager anticipation

The problem we have even with a delayed start time , you have about 10 games in the first month of the season and half games are complete by xmas new year because of the trophy matches later in season.

If they decide to complete it, I dont care when it finishes and when the 20/21 season starts.
The only issue I see is that the prem/champ would be moaning that the 20/21 season would finish late and then "hamper" the chance for us to win the Euros.....
As far as I'm concerned, I'd rather watch TUFC than those prima donnas running round.......
