Obviously until new owners are in situ, no season tickets have been sold. Will I have my old seat ??

I think that ship has sailed and we may have to accept that we will be left behind to some extent. I see next season, assuming we will be competing in NLS, as being one of consolidation and hopefully more stability rather than anything else. Build from there fingers crossed.

One thing I hope we can do more of going forward is cultivate links with ex gulls managing/coaching clubs higher up the pyramid. We have seemingly utilised the link with Paul Hall at QPR well, but we also have the likes of Rosenior, Williamson, Moore managing clubs in the EFL that we need to tap into
Good shout. It's this kind of thinking and improvement to all areas of the club we need to bring in. There will be many spinning plates but the new owners I believe will want to explore every avenue from on the field to off the field.

Need to see who's in charge first before any other team would consider sending us their players..........

Both Hertford and Bishop’s Stortford are within a 45 minute drive from Enfield which seems to be the property developer rule of thumb.

Meanwhile the proper fans can see a far higher class of football in Enfield.

According to the Enfield FC Twitter/X, from next season they will be playing their home games at Hertford Town FC.

No they don’t.

Enfield FC was liquidated in 2007.

There are two Phoenix clubs.

Enfield Town, formed by fans in 2001, have just been promoted to National League South and play in front of decent crowds in Enfield.

Enfield 1893, formed in 2007 by the people who killed the original club, changed their name to Enfield and were lucky to dodge relegation to the Essex League. They play in front of two men and a dog at Bishop’s Stortford.

Neither is the same legal entity as the original club. In spirit, Enfield Town are the old club.

Salisbury won the play off.
Should be a good away trip next season.
But probably mid week.

If we are really talking about next season, lets start with a manager that understands this league and how it is improving season on season and possesses the ability and strategies to organise a team in more than one way. How we build a defence that doesnt have the third worst goals conceded as we did and expect anything other than abject failure, lets not have a squad of 22/23 when close to ten of them spend more time on the treatment table than they do playing. Full time/part time/ hybrid of both matters less in this league, how many supposed no hope part time teams comfortably turned us over last season.

So, by my reckoning, we've never played either of the two aforementioned clubs.

If the winners of AFC Totton vs Salisbury on Monday are AFC Totton we might well see the return of Scott Rendell to Plainmoor, also Tony Lee could be facing the mighty yellows. Now where have I heard his name suggested before?

I don’t think we’ve ever played Chatham but recall going to Enfield for an FA Cup match when we were 4th division and they were a good non league team.
