Dreyer - looks very promising, could be somebody we sell for a profit
Mussa - as Modgull said, not yet match fit, but clearly talented; one run that saw him make a fool of 3 defenders was...lovely. He'll lose the ball, but that's fine for me when you're doing it in ok places. Armani Little did that too
Carson - good engine, and got a goal
Hamon - still not entirely sold on him but came up trumps with excellent saves right at the death to keep the 3 points
Ash - he'll score plenty in this division if given the support and supply.

Hard to choose but felt the defence, not just defending but bringing the ball out and passing
with a fair amount of long ball and accuracy - Dyer hits a good diagonal ball - edged it over the attack which did ok but more to come from them so.....
Dreyer
Threlkeld
Foulston
Dyer
Carson

Sam Dreyer - a ball-playing centre half, excellent in defence and able to bring the ball forward too
Matt Carson - for a goal and great assist but faded a little second half
Oscar Threlkeld - lovely left foot delivery and again good defensively
Omar Mussa - will be a real deal when match fit but showed lovely skills first half
Lirak Husani - took over where Mussa left off, energetic and skilful

This feature will return for a 15th year. Who would have thought it.

For anyone new, there is a link to the background of what this is all about here: https://www.torquayfanstats.com/fan-vot ... f-the-year

There is also a sidebar which let's you look at the 14 years of data to date, as well as other things on the site of course.

All you need to do is choose up to five players in order from today and I will allocate them points depending on how many votes they each receive. A man of the match is picked each game, but everyone who receives a vote gets some point(s), which tally up at the end of the season to give a winner based on the 46 league fixtures. The winners are quite often the players who play for a lot of the season and pick up points regularly, without necessarily being the man of the match itself every game.
