Absolutely not . I have a soft spot for the Green army as you’ve rallied in our hour of need. You will be more than welcome ….

New owners, new manager, new team. 15 odd games together over 4 months is it?

What does being the best supported club have to do with anything? We have more money and more noise away from home I guess. It also means most teams seem to raise their game when they play us.

It took Wotton 5 seasons to get Truro where he wanted and we all saw what a good team they were. He had to assemble a squad in around a month here, of course some weren’t going to work out and some he signs in the future won’t either. It takes time to get the right players, right mentality, the right style of play that they all understand and is second nature. He like every other manager is looking for the right players, he said so himself, one was meant to have signed but chose another club only last week.

We are a NLS team, we are at the very beginning of the process that will hopefully get us to the FL, but it will take years, not months to get it all right. No one wants to be in this division, but if this season and the next is one purely one of building in this division, then so be it. It’s great to have ambitions of promotion this season, but you also need a good dose of realism and accept and be ok if it doesn’t happen.
There was someone on Twitter calling for Wotton to be sacked on Saturday

Their second goal and ours were scored from low crosses into the box. So easy to score from such moves. Why don't we make more use of low crosses? For example, pulling back a cross from the byline onto the penalty spot where our forwards should / could be waiting to shoot. A move often seen in the Premiership.

Because we have new owmers, new players and a new manager this does that preclude a moan when required, Wotton was willing to make the big step up from a part time team where if you are honest regardless of their results or performance he was never going to get the elbow. our expectations are a lot higher and rightly so. 15 games in is plenty to know not only whether players are up to the job or are capable of playing the way the manager requires, Even the dinosaur Johnson knew that simple fact.

Personally my view is a lot of us are still struggling to realise how far we’ve fallen. We are not in league 1 or 2, we are not even in the NL proper. We are not really in a league that is or was known as “professional” how we got where we are is another matter. It’s hard to accept but we are where we are and it is clear that everything is moving in the right direction, that is undoubtable and that is why we have hope.

Good news :-D

Hopefully the rumours of Jordan Young coming in from Yeovil are true but another big man up top is definitely needed
I'd also take a guy branston style player in the middle of the pitch

I see Cooke picked up a booking today which i think is No,5 and therefore presumably banned for Saturday?

When you get a loss it is obvious and natural there will be some negativity, its the manner of the losing that is so annoying, listening to the commentary we never turned up first half, as a result we had three subs at half time, did wotton misjudge either the starting eleven so badly , or did we not do our homework on the oppositioon, or are the players not capable of listening to him, half the team are happy and comfortable playing it along the ground the other half are only capable of playing hoof ball which is ok in the western league but not for pro football, each week we seem to move between either 352 or 442 or even 532, is it any wonder the players are confused in the style of play required. Certainly players of far better quality would be confused so I hold nothing against our team in that respect.
Yes ,we need additions who have speed and guile and preferably played at a higher level than our go to clubs of bath or truro, I think Cooke will come good with the right service, the other two forwards, no they have their chance and been found wanting, today we played without a holding midfielder and it seemed to be scary rabbits in the headlights everytime they played aroud or over us.
