it wont be ready by february so doesnt really matter!! i'd be placing a large bet if any bookies were offering a price on the length of delay to completion!!

Looks like the fooball league ingnored are request for are big fixtures to be played after the new stand has been built. seeing as only the home Rovers game being played after February.

Can see us away to Plymouth on Boxing Day and home on a bank holiday monday. With our reduced capacity, surely this is the most sensible option for the Devon derby.

Hoping for Aldershot away opening day.

Oh yes I heard about that but completely forgot about it

Ideally had we gone up last year, Plymouth, Brizzle, Swindon all stayed up, Bristol City get relegated and Southampton stay down, that would have been excellent!

Exeter, Argyle, Bristol C, Bristol R, Swindon, Southampton, Bournemouth, Yeovil.

Still, can't really grumble with it this year, just a shame that Exeter aren't down here too.

Danny, we have requested for the games where we'll need full capacity to be kept back until after February. Whether the FL accept that, who knows.

The last I heard the Grandstand or shall I say "Bristow's Bench" Stand won't be finished until Feb.

I dont think you can say were better off in League 2

We're better off in League 2. Guaranteed sellouts v Argyle and Rovers. Swindon, Oxford, Northampton, Shrewsbury, Port Vale will bring decent followings, as will Wimbledon and if they are going well again the glory hunters of Crawley also.

Plus we've got a load of southern away games there also including Cheltenham, Barnet, Dagenham, Hereford, Southend and Gillingham. South >>>>>>>>>>>>>> North.

All of these tasty fixtures certainly help soften the blow after not going up. That said, they're only going to be fun if we have a competitive team. How great would it be to play Bristol Rovers or Argyle on the last day, with both of us battling for promotion?* If we're fighting relegation of simply treading water, they'll lose something,.

(*And us winning, obviously)

I'm pretty sure there was a season with Plymouth, Exeter and BR back in the 90's.

Fixtures

Now we have finally got a manager and hopefully some good players coming to us for this coming season. I for one am looking forward to the fixture list being released on Friday and will have any eye on a couple of fixtures to say the least. On paper in my mind this has to be one of the best list of clubs I have seen for a good few years. The fixtures I will be looking out for will be.

Argyle
Bristol Rovers
Oxford
Swindon
Crawley

Which teams will you be looking for this friday and can you remember a better league fixture list? Maybe with us Plymouth, Exeter and both Bristol clubs all in the same league?
