That was another factor in getting my season ticket.

Yep, spot on there regiment. I went in and got mine on Friday 17th (the last day of the extended, extended early bird offer).

I wonder if the extended, extended offer will be thrice extended ? :|

754 then!! its a pretty good figure really even if we sell no more, more than a quarter of our average gate, which if you remove the away fans is even more impressive

how many did we sell when they did that ridiculous offer a few years back?

Considering we're only 100ish down on last season's total when we currently have half a team, half a Grandstand, no manager, coach, scout or goalkeeper, we're doing rather well. Especially as we still have seven weeks until the new season.

anyone got figures for how many season tickets have sold in each of the last few seasons? seems we're a few short of last seasons 850ish
That 750 figure would have been before today's sales though. I got mine this morning and there were another 3 people behind me doing the same. I would expect quite a few wait until the last day.

"Early bird" season ticket offer ends this Friday June 10th. Appointment of new manager : earliest Monday 13th June, lastest Friday 17th June.

NEWS FLASH :

TUFC are pleased to announce Ms Dyke as the new manager (from this point on to be known as "The Manageress") of Torquay United Association Football Club. Betty Dyke (known in the game as Butch) said it's a rough tough man game and the spine of her side will have no short arse limp dicks in it.

On another note, TUFC have announced that receipts from the early bird season ticket sales have been dismal. The collective of fools calling itself a board see no connection between the late managerial appointment and what independent observers are calling a massive slump in season ticket sales.

You couldn't make it up.

He's registered on here now, so be careful what you say. :) Not only has his good wife domesticated him to shopping, erindoors is showing him the way of the computer.

Family loyalty prevents me from revealing what bruv's online identity is at this moment in time.

No. It was extended because they took the decision not to sell any season tickets during the week in the lead up to the Play Off Final - for obvious reasons as they were under pressure.

It was extended at the beginning of last week.
