I've heard first hand from a red source that as long as the said red pikey can get the legs on his caravan welded, then a few overnight stops may be on.

Why he chose to pitch it in a pay as you go caravan park when any self respecting pikey just plonks it on Clennon Valley/Galmpton Common God only knows.

That's a point forgot about that at Swindon, it took me ages to get permission and then I wasn't allowed to stand with it, or hit it.

Shrewsbury (they won't let drums in)
Southend (will be on the p!ss so no drumming)
Southampton - League Cup (they won't let drums in) **Can you call it an away game when you can pretty much see the ground from your house**
Swindon

you can take the drum in, only you can't hit it so as to make any noise, and you can't stand up.

Unless you're dressed as a dragon, or whatever that thing was supposed to have been.

I've got Bradford, Crewe, Port Vale and Accrington in my diary for before Christmas, particularly want to get the last 2 in as they'd be new grounds.

The Mrs has requested I cut down to 1 a month (technically 2 of the above are in the same month but the first isn't till 2 months into the season and the 4th is on my birthday) so Macclesfield-Morecambe-Rotherham over 4 weeks in the new year might take some negotiating, though that's about the end of the northern season unless I get down to Burton or Shrewsbury again.

Having said that, work could mean we'll be moving to Cardiff soon, in which case it's a long wait for Swindon and Hereford. Hopefully I can get home to the Bay over Christmas/New Year and take a few games in then too.

Definates for me = Northampton Town, Oxford United, Cheltenham Town. Possibles = Barnet, Bristol Rovers, Plymouth Argyle, Swindon Town. More to follow once I get a new job sorted out :)

Just found out that i have to look after my daughter for the weekend of the BR away game as my girlfriend has to work and i am more than gutted as i planned to go camping for the weekend with my Rotherham Miller mate, get hammered and watch the football and drama unfold. Instead i'll be watching Mr Tumble hanging out washing, getting baby shit on my hands and reading stories about talking animals. **** marvellous! Kids eh? Who'd av 'em?! This does mean though that we will be able to make the Daggers away game later that month so i just wanted to get you Gulls who have been before to Dagenham to give me some info such as best place to park, is it easy to get to, any trouble, places to get a beer and bite to eat and the whole experience of it. It would be most appreciated. I don't as a general rule go to away games in or around London but i'll make an exception for this one and give it a go. Cheers everyone.

How can you say that when the game is over a month away and there are no tickets on sale yet?

I think most would say that the atmosphere at away games is generally better than at Plainmoor. I love that little ground but it can have a tendency to be a bit...quiet. Unless some old git behind you says "this is crap!" 27 seconds into the game...

So you've been a fan since 2004 or earlier, but never been to Plainmoor!! :O[/quote]
