Conservatively, there are 20,000 football teams in England. The lowest rank Cardiff can achieve this season is 44th. This puts them in the top 0.24% of clubs in the country, I'd suggest they're doing a fine job.
Rice, fat porker, the guy probably wears a 28" waist and weighs, maybe, 10 stone.
McPhee was a decent Conference player last season, and that division is as near as makes no difference as strong as L2, I don't know where you get this opinion that we are so far in advance of the better clubs in the conference. The top half of the Conference, it could be reasonably argued, would hump teams in the bottom half of L2.
McPhee, I guess, will do just fine in the division this year. The defense is no weaker for having Saah replace Pickles and Olejnik replace Bevan.
Zedders is a big loss and yet to be replaced, but McPhee will do a decent impression until we can stumble upon a decent loanee.
The middle of the park is weaker for having no Stanley, but it's not relegation class by a long chalk.
The front line is weak, we know this, but crucially, so does Dinger, and he is working on it.
All in all, we're not doing too bad, and there's plenty of time left yet.
