They certainly do. Its enjoyable to watch someone out for a run in hot june/july sun (well, about as hot as it gets here) with about 3 layers of sweatshirts on sweating the pounds off :)

They are expected to stay in reasonable shape all summer and have a plan for the 3 to 4 weeks prior to pre season training, so when PST starts, they dont have to waste time with basic fitness levels.

I've lost count of how many shots he's had blocked and wondered if they had got through how many would have been on target and resulted in goals.

Did you know that even slow fat b'stards can do something to speed up their reaction time. Not a lot of people know that.
I've been trying for ages to speed mine up. ;-)

I was referring to the intention to get the squad fully fit rather than simply lose weight, but occasionally I express myself badly! But you're right about Danny and Eunan. Mustn't let that happen at Torquay. It's Bristol that has the gas balloons.... ;-)

Bulk Danny and Eunan up. Make Billy and Rene loose some weight. We will be the champions elect come may. I can dream right?

He will get lighter throughout the season and, come the Jan transfer window, he will be down to his fighting weight.

Matt.
And if that approach applies across the whole squad we'll be in for a storming finish to win the League Two title.

Exactly the way he likes his steak, the fat git!

Lets be honest, there isn't really much excuse for not keeping in shape when your job is exercise!
