A Torquay fan refereeing and we only won 1-0, we must have been rubbish :~D

Halpin won the penalty and slotted it in well.

Most notable playing for yeovil today was rory fallon-ellis kept him quiet!

First teamers and ML came to watch
Hope that means that Mark will make the starting line up againt D & R on sat. (Sorry Dave)

Behind closed doors, so, who are you then, one of the players? ML himself? Perhaps a director? Come on, spill the beans, you've been rumbled!

if we are arranging friendlies during the season and subsequently playing our reserve side.. does this mean that we havent entered a competitive reserve league this year?

Not too deeply buried on the club site...

Yeah, I wasn't entirely serious.

Glad he played well though, better than playing badly, I guess.

2 lads that aren't full backs and a left back playing centre half against a League 1 ressie side. Not surprised to be honest!

Worrying that he was forced to do so.

I think ml said in one of his interviews he was seeing a specialist at the start of this week to hopefully get the go ahead to resume training, or something along them lines!

Wouldn't completely dis-credit the value of this friendly. Steve Maclean and Rory Fallon might be past their best, but they are tricky customers at the best of times so would have been a useful excercise for Ellis and LRT at Centre Half.

We should be pleased with the way we handle our reserves I think - they always seem to pick up results, whether its in the reserve league or in say the friendly at WSM. I think it shows we have some players who aren't a million miles away from being able to step up.

I'd really like to see Halpin and Macklin given starts on the wing at Cheltenham, see what they can do. Along with Ellis at Centre back, and maybe look to give Spear, Yeoman some time from the bench.

This also begs the question - I assume Leadbitter is still struggling with injury?
