You cannot possibly be serious! I presume you’ve watched us play last year when Oastler was being played in midfield. He did not have a clue in CM, completely out of position. He was as confused as Manse was when he played at full back. As soon as Oastler was put in the RB position he played much better straight away. His good form came in the friendlies and in the first couple games of the season. Unfortunately he has had a couple poor games, but we are all human he's not going to play well every game. Oastler is our best option at RB and his good form will come back soon, but saying that he should be played in CM is a complete joke!

well tbh royalgull i think there are quite a few players in the team who have had more than 3 poor games so far this season but i am one of those people who like to be optimistisc and put it down to setttling in the new regime but i suppose theres always going to be scapegoats when we lose 8/

(yes he was actually at the game). when he got home and watched the highlights he discovered that he was not to blame at all and apologised on the forum. basically he had assumed oastler was to blame because he saw him walking away from the crime scene looking dejected and also because he does not rate him as a right back an opinion he is quite rightly entitled to. my point being - dont slag players off until you know the facts. :na:

But I do know the facts, given that I was there (and, unlike the guy in your post, actually paying attention), and the fact remains that Brian Saah isn't very good.

Anyway, it was a joke, so doesn't need to start a fight.

Matt.

Cheers Scotty. He was the one I thought he was, but couldn't be sure.

He has always looked a danger in the reserve/youth games I have seen. (Which presumably means he looked rubbish in the highlights... ;-) )

The little long haired one,

Intresting to see on .com that it will either be Macklin, O'Kane or McPhee upfront with Tiawo on Saturday.
