Good to see the club trying to tie up new deals early. However, i hope we don't tie everyone down to a deal and end up with an over-inflated squad that we can't add to as our budget is stretched so much. I just hope not everyone negotiating the deals goes all 'anti-buckle' and gets everyone on a 25 year deal.

On 30 June 2014, he'll be 23 still (for another 10 days), so he's under contract for another 3 years and then we'd still be able to get compensation if he left on a free. If he stayed with us all that time it'd be terrific, but it means that if he does leave before, as is probably likely, we'll be in a position to make sure we get a decent fee, and he gets a good move.

On the sky sports scroll bar, it also says that the clubs are in talks with Robbo, Mansell and Nicho. Which is good, good to see players getting signed up early so last summer doesnt happen again.

Agreed, but you'd hope that by the time it's mutually agreed by all parties to go on the O/S that the deal is done.

Loved his finish in the last goal he scored at Plainmoor let hope he can seal this latest deal with a goal on Sat.

I hope it's on the official site soon - after numerous incidents in the past I'm always nervous until there's a photo of someone holding a scarf and pretending to smile.

This is indeed very good news!

I think Eunan has a few years experience to gain before he moves up to the next level and it pleases me immensely that he is seemingly happy to do that at Torquay United.
