Hi Luke,
Thank you very much for your kind words. It was very nice to meet you and your Dad. Glad all worked out well with the ticketing arrangements and what a great game to see !
I will pass on your thanks to Peter which he will appreciate having been on rather a steep learning curve this season.
Please call in any time you are passing.
Regards,
Andrew

I met Andrew for the first time today and I must say, what a thoroughly nice chap! Had a quick chat with him about the new stand and various other things TUFC. What an absolute credit to the club we have here, long may it continue! Can I also add the lad on the reception was good too, knew exactly who I was as soon as I mentioned about the ticket and used a bit of common sense I hadn't even thought of!

Andrew, once again, a big thank you for sorting out for the ticket. Feel free to also give the lad a pat on the back for me too!

Luke.

royal

I use Gulls Player for the match day commentaries alone.

Are you saying that these are all available from the BBC website?

Re: Free Ticket

i've had Gulls player for the last few years but I cancelled it this year. I ran the free trial the other week but the commentary was a bit unreliable but more to the point the contents of Gulls Player though improved still doesn't offer that much more than the BBC site for the money in my opinion. The odd interview turns up but the highlights of the game usually aren't uploaded till after the BBC and like I said I just don't think there is enough content to justify the fee. Obviously with limited staff and time it's not easy for a club of Torquay's size to rival bigger clubs usage of 'Player' but it's the same fee for less content. Although i could use my login to go on other teams sites but ultimately you don't really care about other teams.

Nice gesture from the club to be fair with regard to the ticket.

Yes i paid the full amount, actually it was a quid more than previously i believe! :O

Re: Free Ticket

You need to pay the full price of £39.99 to qualify.

However PM-FLI-DOM FELTHAM took precisely that amount from my account on 05/08/2011 and I haven’t heard anything either.

I will wait until tomorrows post and then call in International Rescue (A Candy).

Same as above, i thought this offer would apply to me also, been subbed since the BSP seasons. Have received no voucher.

How do you get the voucher.

I've been a Gullsplayer subscriber for 2 years and havn't seen anything yet.

Will make up for the poor customer support form whoever runs Gplayer. Lost count of the times I tried to log on to listen to the match and it wasnt working.

Got my voucher today as well. Really appreciate that and it makes the Gullsplayer a bargain at about £17.

I have a season ticket though so will have to give my voucher away but appreciate the sentiment.
