So Lloyd Macklin might get the chance to play at Bramall Lane after all .....

to be fair there is no wonder brucie is miserable all the time when he has to live with himself 24/7

What a sad state of affairs when an old man gets his comments removed for acting like a child.

moving on...

Hasn't he just.............

brucie wrote:There was a fair few misgivings when Ling was appointed and really he is appearing pretty clueless. is Saah actually poking him or something. Our team is completely crap and no team spirit either. It is looking like a recipe for disaster. A new stand to watch non league football next year.
brucie wrote:Any comparison with the last two seasons is nonsensical. The team in the last two seasons was of better quality than this one. Therefore the likelyhood of picking up is probably less. Some people need to take a healthy dose of realism. Anyone can post shite like trojan has can any sane person really see the current side going on a run of wins?
I posted before the Bradford game that we wouldn't win three out of the next twelve games. We have subsequently lost to a team who played most of the game with ten men. We followed that up by getting shellacked by a Gillingham team with several injuries and their top scorer missing.
Between those two games our fringe players contrived to get whupped by an average Cheltenham reserve side.
Oh yes - don't worry Ling is "gonna look at the dvd" (his favourite saying).
There is NO evidence that our form is going to improve - in fact it is likely to get worse.

Admin Edit - Content Removed (Personal Abuse) Macklin is crap and has been ever since he has been here. Have a look at how many games he has played since he has been here. Crap attitude and Crap player.
Who knows whether he has got ability or not - he doesn't apply himself.
He is similar to Jake Thomson - same attitude but nowhere near as talented.
Lets face it we hardly overblessed with wingers this season are we.
One thing is obvious Ling is nobody's fool and he clearly doesn't rate him.

The only thing that is a dead cert is your incessant whining :na:

I think he has potential, and his loan period will show whether he can realise it or not. I'll happily take a bet with you that he isn't shown the door - if you're that confident how does a 10/1 odds sound?

..... only applies after the expiry of 28 days though - so we can't get him back this side of Christmas.

I'd imagine he is on a 24 hour recall clause, just incase we get a bit short on numbers.

Out of interest, can we still loan someone or are we past the deadline now? Just wondered if this was part of Mr Ling's master plan of getting the best winger in League 2 history in on loan. It might mean we see a bit more of Halpin if not.

When was the last player we had from the youth ranks who actually did make the grade?

I really cant remember anyone for years...

He will be shown the door at the end of the season thats a dead cert. Cannot think of a signing who has actually done much worse. He isn't League 2 standard.
