Seriously, sexy gulls is right. Can we leave this Bucksfest alone now please?!!! Its becoming rather tiresome.

. I realise the difficulty most of us have in controlling ourselves when we devise quips of this nature directed at our former manager. We see it as a gift for the greater good and it simply must be put out there. And we'd be right!

An old lady walked past Buckle earlier today struggling with heavy shopping bags. He asked her if she could manage.

She said "Yes, but you got us into this mess, you can sort it out yourself".

I never suggested you said this thread was stupid and should be deleted. Your post was of a nature which suggested that you had no interest in PB, therefore none of us should start or participate in threads regarding him.
If you don't like it, don't post is not an argument, it's advice for life.

For me, no, we shouldn't move on and forget Bucks, I think the OP is an excellent question and certainly one to which I'd like to take the mind of other members, if that's ok with you?

Fans of Torquay SHOULD move on from PB i agree but then so should the Bristol Rovers fans move on from obsessing with our site by feeling compelled to respond and defend anything we say ON OUR OWN SITE BY THE WAY about their club! Although fans of all clubs are welcome, if i post a mickey taking thread about Rovers i meant it for other TUFC fans to respond NOT for gasheads to come on and slag me off for being obsessed about their fortunes! So you see its just the nature of fans and it can be annoying but sometimes can be funny.

Except I wasn't saying 'This thread is stupid, please delete it." I was merely commenting that IMHO fans of Torquay United should move on from Paul Buckle as I feel its beginning to become an obsession that reflects poorly on us fans. I will join in the friendly abuse towards Buckle when Rovers come to town, and I recieved a sharp shock when I turned the telly on Sunday forgetting Totton V BR was televised but I personally don't feel the need to follow his every move.

Oh and "if you don't like the discussion then don't contribute' is a rubbish way of responding to a different point of view.

There is no requirement for you to post on, or even read, threads which don't appeal to you. Should we run all potential new threads past you before publication to ensure they meet your critreia and are of interest to you, or are you concerned with the other 1179 registered members and many, many times that number of visitors?
