Correct. Was the 1990-91 season, and was known as the Leyland DAF Cup\Trophy. He made a sub appearance.

I started thinking about this after seeing Tony Currie featured in the Sheff Utd programme last week and I think this is the definitive answer with your help on here, with 52 Torquay players having gained full international honours, including 14 for England. Well, the question asked was "international". Wakeham was selected for either Under-21 or England B, I forget which.
