He was training with us over Jan, not sure if he still is or not now. But Jake i believe was on a little trial thing to show Ling what he can do. A deal was almost done on deadline day but we couldnt afford the wages Northampton wanted us to pay. So i wouldnt suprise me if a deal could be done.

Is it though, fact that he has been training with us? It would seem a bit odd, to me. He's contracted to AC Relegated, how impressed would they be if he gets crocked doing something with us when there seems to be no benefit to Cobblers (we're not paying his salary, not if he's not playing for us). Equally, if he's not training with NTFC, there is zero chance of him being picked for the first team. I really can't believe that the chairman would allow himself to be taken for two grand a week (or whatever JR is on) in that circumstance.
Personally, I'm in agreement with our unnamed friend, I think he's on his way, it would just seem a little odd if he were training with us.

Matt.

I never feel frustrated arguing with him, I actually quite enjoy it!

Aussie,

What you have to remember with Matt is that he will argue that white is black - he is never, ever wrong.

You can either accept that, and just laugh to yourself reading the clear nonsense that often comes from his mouth (he can't help it, he is a (trainee) lawyer after all), or you can go the way of Cambgull and get frustrated arguing with him constantly. Either way it makes for an entertaining read for me that's for sure.

And you're still wrong (there's a surprise) about my facts post. I shan't explain it here, it would be insulting to those who have grasped my very obvious point with consummate ease. (Louis, we need a *pokes Cambgull with stick* smiley).

Matt.
There's no way I'd be the woman in our relationship Matt, that would mean you actually managed to get some p*ssy. Also, I've seen your picture. Girly face, added to the girly car. If there isn't a closet homosexual in there I'll eat my hat!

I'm not really wrong at all on your facts post, you first made a statement about a "credible rumour" which you rightly got called out for, then proceeded to make a post about facts being credible as if to gloss over your mistake. So what was this "very obvious point" then? The fact that you got it wrong, then confirmed what Aussie had told you but in a way to suggest that it had been your point in the first place. Nice attempt at NLP though, I'll give you that! :-D
