clicking around some of those other stats they have there, I was impressed by the 'winning at half time' one - of 40 games, we've been in front at HT in 12...and gone on to win ALL 12. That's impressive.

Play offs are in the bag as a bare minimum now, Crewe are somewhat 13 points behind us therefore need to win at least 4 games and have a worse goal difference - cannot see us dropping below 7th now!

6 games left and counting........

After last nights win at barnet the lowest finish is now 10th. Im hoping this will rise again after todays round of games. Not far off that playoff spot!

Football365 is mainly used by reasonably serious football betters.

Betting at a more serious level is , in this case, purely about the statistical chance of Torquay getting promoted against the odds available. It gives a great stear and when used alongside the forum "The Punters Lounge" you do have a much better understanding before placing that bet.

The model used by football365 includes many of the elements that the main layers use in their computer programs before releasing their initial odds. After which it depends mainly on how much money is placed on each outcome.

Lowest position now 14th, and the site's frankly obscure mathematics is predicting we'll be 3rd at the end of the season.

Let's hope then we don't go into administration get deducted 10 points and then relegated for not sending the fax in time

So according to the website linked above the lowest possible finish now is 16th. not long till a top half place is confirmed hopefully!

Re: Lowest possible finish

hector wrote: Think your maths maybe a little dodgy...2pts a game over the season would be 92 points... :slap:

What Ian meant was 69 points (current total) plus 17 points from 9 remaining games = 86 points.

Attain that total and up for sure we'll be.
