Yes, as Clint Beastly said “A man's got to know his limitations”.

Regrettably I was not there to see the fruits of your labours Aus, nor indeed of the boys in yellow. However based on the result and the transformation that has occurred to the Plainmoor pitch in recent years I can only say ‘fair dinkum cobber’.

Whatever you are doing, keep on doing it... :)

It is a tricky blighter the English language. Especially for ex-colonials.

I hope the pitch was to your satisfaction yesterday Yellow and yes I was stating that I agree with you! 45 years of using the English language and I`m still crap at it in written form, I`d much rather talk than type and listen than read!

I posted this elsewhere but it fits here for obvious reasons. I just set up a Tumblr blog called 'Lingisms' at http://www.lingisms.tumblr.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, in celebration of Mr Lings unique phrases, because, y'know, he does come out with some crackers. Hopefully there'll be a few more before the FA snap him up.
