Not complaining about either of my recent missed away trips, Hereford and Cheltenham. I'll pick a good one next season instead!

Not the best of away trips. In hindsight you did well to miss it Luke. :( :'( Get a good start on Thursday and we might be able to turn it around. :goal: Fingers crossed. COYY

I can't unfortunately, usual financial reasons. I'll beg, steal and borrow for a trip to Wembley though, of course!

No problem Cambgull no offence taken. Appreciate that it's just banter. It's what makes the world go around.
You going tomorrow?

DiamondGirl, don't worry, I wasn't calling you rubbish supporters! You've probably seen more games in the last 6 weeks than I've seen in 3 seasons!

It's just banter!

Yeah, just had a read of PASOTI and the West Devon Janners have taken the piss more so than on here.

Don't give up, keep checking the threads and good luck in your search. :-D

As Phil is a Plymouth buhy and living in Plymouth, have you tried posting on PASOTI (Plymouth Argyle Supporters On The Internet) ?

PASOTI is their main fans forum. Best of luck in your search for Phil.

Edit : Former TUFC player Dave Pook is a Plymouth Buhy and was at Plainmoor at the same time as Phil. Another lead for you to follow.

I have been informed that he is living in Plymouth, is there anyone out there who could put me in touch with him via phone or email?

Ha ha. So very true USAgull. Americans are amazing when it comes to geography. I love the world news channels, on American TV. They cover New York, Florida, and as far away as California. Brilliant.

I, like Ferrari, have only been supporting the Gulls since moving to Devon on 20th august 2004. That's not our fault. We lived 200 miles away.
However, it makes our support, of the club, no less passionate that someone who has been supporting them for the last 100 years. We are season ticket holders, and have been for the last 4 years. I did not miss an away game for 2 years running, and have only missed 2 away games this season. We give 100% support to TUFC, including going to youth team matches, Devon Bowl matches, Charity matches and, in Ferrari's case, development matches plus ALL pre-season matches, including away.

Please do not start to question Ferrari's commitment to TUFC just because he does not know the history of every player who has turned out for them.

We could have gone and watched the Pilgrims or the lot up the road, but we lived in torquay and it was only right to support our local team. :@

We might not all know each other but someone who is a sporting local celeb might just be easily found on a site that should know who the bloke is! Possibly. i.e if your looking for someone you would naturally trace their history for contacts, it ain`t rocket science or are you just being an arse to someone who you don`t even know again? Ever heard of trying to be helpful instead of trying to be a smart arse all the time, a lot of your posts are very good reading and you obviously know your stuff but then you go at people for no apparent reason and it really does let you down.
Why do I feel massively hypocrytical right now!
Edit minor spelling f**k up!
For goodness sake , lighten up. It's only a joke. I have, actually, had an American say the same thing to me. "Oh you live in London,do you know my wife's cousin, Mary?"

He's not "having a go" just light hearted banter. No wonder the world is in a mess. Dear oh dear.
