Best moment at a football match happened that day Kernow.

Imagine the scene, it's half past 2, the players are warming up and a gent in a pristine white shirt had just purchased a tray of 4 coffee's and was walking back to his seat behind the goal, when one of our players, whilst warming up the keeper, has a rocket of a shot which is just off target..........

:goal: :@ :red:

He was not a happy chap, and spent the rest of the game in a coffee stained polo shirt in what was probably his last visit to a football match.

Happy days!!!

I remember Walsall away during our League One campaign. Cant remember the score, think it may have been a draw, but anyhow, the Walsall stewards were brilliant. Probably my favourite away stewards ever, my old man and myself had a great craic with the m before, during, and after the game. Thread seems to have gone off topic somewhat but thought Id chuck that in the mixer, as usually stewards make mo impact or a negative one

As luck would have it Im in Walsall Wood on the morning of Sept 9th (Sunday) at the nearby Barons Court so making it to Oak Park would be easy enough to do. I will contact Nick closer to the time

You must come and say hello when we are up in Walsall Wood. Just look out for the toy fairs at the leisure center. I think it's at Oak park on 9th September. Nick will be there too and he's a big Sadlers fan and got a huge badge collection. I think he lives near Dugly now.. You know the place. Where they ask what colour the pink primer is.

Of that fact I can totaly concur Sadlad. Walsore is indeed a bit of a run down hole but remember. It's the people who make a place and some of the folks up around there are the salt of the earth. Mind you you have be to live there.

Jarvo and Damon will both sign, I have no doubts at all, if they have not already.

They ALWAYS refer to Walsall as Warsaw.

Yes signed on the 28th May.

see comments below from the official site

RYAN Jarvis has agreed a one-year deal at Plainmoor for next season.

The talented striker joined on loan from Walsall in March and played an important role in a gripping end to the campaign for the Gulls.

Manager Martin Ling was quick to offer Jarvis a contract after his release from Walsall and the forward has readily signed on the dotted line.

Getting back to topic - is this official yet? Had three stories on the OS yesterday with pics of Cruise, Poke and Bodin but no Jarvis story? I have not heard anything that 100% confirms this (or Damo for that matter).

Andrew, you obviously don't watch Soccer AM on a Sat. morning. Watch it and listen out to what Helen & Max say. ;-)

That must have been in 1940/41 when they beat Notts County 11-4 and Aston Villa 10-3. They stayed on, to fight for the country in various Cup games..
