Our away support is the best in the country and anyone who says it isn't wears a dress. :na:

I am delighted to report that Uber has managed to post an actual, bonafide fact, the first this site has seen for quite some time. :~D

Does anyone have a link to the Express article mentioned in the OP?

Matt.

I recall going to Barnet on a Friday night last year when there was something like 700+ gulls, bet only 150 of those travelled from Devon.

As a result our home attendances suffer.
Yeah, this is pretty much the answer. South Devon tends to be somewhere that people are from, rather than live. There aren't really a huge amount of well-paid jobs, so a lot of people move away.

where to start on this old debate! is admission too high? id say yes, i think a little reduction next season would stand the club in good stead, along with a playoffs final victory and promotion and a hefty sale for a player....

maybe Ricey to chelsea for 5 million, thatd do nicely

There's a flip side to this 'fact', surely it shows how poor are home games are attended.

Apologies if this has been a thread before but the article in Express about our away support at York got me thinking about where we stood in the League - ie away fans as % of home gate.

Turns out we are first, and third in the Football League overall.

Apparently ferrarilover that is a fact. :na:
